ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH & SCHOOL
Beginning May 10th, Zion will offer two services a week. We plan to have a Sunday 10:00AM service and a Wednesday 7:00PM service each week. There will be a limit of 75 people per service to ensure that social distancing can safely occur with household units remaining 6 feet apart. The Sunday and Wednesday services will usually be identical in their presentation and both will have communion offered. Specific communion procedures will be explained during each service with only a small number of members coming forward at once to commune. In order to maintain the health and safety of our members, we plan to be diligent in our efforts to prevent the spread or exposure of the COVID-19 virus. During each service there will need to be six feet of separation between different household units. There will be no passing of any items among members, including attendance books. We will have the offering plates in the Narthex. We will be forgoing shaking hands, coffee & cookies, or any small gatherings before or after each service. Please stay home if you are sick or showing any signs of fever or cough. If you are not comfortable attending services due to being elderly or immune compromised, please contact the office or Pastor and he can add you to the "shut-in” list, to ensure you still receive pastoral care at this time. Please continue to keep everyone in your prayers as we make all efforts to stay safe during this transition.
You will have to call the office on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9:00AM-5:00PM to schedule the service day you wish to attend.
